DB Kaleb Chalmers of Greenwood couldn’t make it to Clemson Saturday for the junior day but he did get a chance to drop by on Sunday.

Chalmers plays for a seven on seven team from Charlotte and they had a tournament in Atlanta Saturday. On the way back to Charlotte Sunday, the entire team stopped by Clemson and Chalmers said secondary coach Mike Reed served as their host.

“He gave us a tour,” said Chalmers who has been to Clemson before and is familiar with the campus and program.

Chalmers has offers from Clemson, USC, North Carolina, Duke, Stanford, Wake Forest, Tennessee, Georgia Tech, Georgia Southern and Marshall. He talked with USC recruiter GA Mangus a couple of days ago and might attend the Gamecocks’ junior day March 29th. Other than that he has no other visits planned.

Chalmers says he remains wide open and has no favorites.
