South Carolina's Tuesday evening baseball game at The Citadel has been postponed due to poor weather.

The game has been rescheduled for 7 p.m. Wednesday, April 16 at Joseph P. Riley Jr. Park.

The Charleston area on Tuesday night is expected to remain damp with temperatures in the upper 40s.

The Gamecocks return to action this weekend with a three-game series at Kentucky. First pitch for the opener on Friday is 6:30 p.m.

South Carolina (18-1) is No. 1 in the Baseball America Top 25.
