Cunningham to visit USC next weekend before deciding

April 6, 2014

After apparently falling out of the picture with 6-11 Adonis Delarosa of New York who decided to make his announcement April 9th without visiting USC, the Gamecocks are going to have a shot at 6-6 Josh Cunningham of Chicago, one of the highest rated uncommitted players in the country.

Cunningham's coach Nick Irvin announced Saturday Cunningham will take his final official visit to USC before making his announcement April 18th at his high school. Cunningham was also considering Indiana for the final visit. That visit will take place next weekend.

Cunningham has taken official visits to Iowa State, Creighton, Oklahoma and Northwestern. He's also still considering Indiana, Bradley, DePaul and Minnesota.

Cunningham had planned to make his announcement Wednesday but is delaying that until after the USC visit.
