USC favored by 9 in opening game against Texas A&M

South Carolina is favored by nine points in its opening football game against Texas A&M, according to point spreads released on Thursday by the offshore online book, 5Dimes.eu,

Of the spread, the site said, "A&M-South Carolina is large, but given losses, probably right where it needs to be."

Both teams lose their starting quarterbacks from this past season: Connor Shaw at USC and Johnny Manziel at A&M.
