COLUMBUS - Jeremy Pruitt is getting married on Saturday.

He's not nervous. Just don't ask Georgia's defensive coordinator for any details. His fiancee, Casey East, has handled all that.

"I've got an itinerary," Pruitt said Wednesday, before an appearance at UGA Day in Columbus. "I know what my itinerary is and I’ll follow it."

There won't be any honeymoon, he said, since "we've got to get ready for football season."

Asked whether that was a tough sell for his bride-to-be, Pruitt smirked.

"She knows what pays the bills," said Pruitt, who earlier this year signed a three-year contract that pays him $850,000 annually.
