Kansas City Chiefs offensive guard Rokevious Watkins has been suspended for four games by the NFL for violating the league's substance abuse policy, according to national footballpost.com

Watkins, a 6-foot-3, 338-pounder from South Carolina, was suspended one game last season with the St. Louis Rams for violating the NFL drug policy.

He was cut by the Rams after reporting overweight and signed by the Chiefs this year.

Watkins is a former Rams fifth-round draft pick and All-SEC selection with the Gamecoccks.
