Connor Shaw ties the knot

GoGamecocks staff reportsJuly 10, 2014

Connor Shaw is a married man.

Shaw tied the knot with his high school sweetheart Molly Smith in the Dominican Republic. He and his brother, Jaybo, both posted photos from the ceremony to their Twitter pages on Thursday.

"So happy for these two amazing people! Love you both very much!" Jaybo Shaw tweeted.

"My everything," Connor Shaw tweeted along with a photo of him kissing his bride.

The Flowery Branch, Ga., native finished his South Carolina career as the winningest quarterback in school history, including going 17-0 at Williams-Brice Stadium.

He agreed to a free agent deal with the Cleveland Browns in May and has been to the Browns' minicamps. Smith will move back to Cleveland with Shaw in August, and the business of making the team will begin again in earnest.

The two are expecting a baby daughter in September.

“It’s going to be a wedding and a honeymoon and a baby moon all in one,” Shaw said in May.
